We are seeking  CBI paraprofessional candidates committed to ReNEW’s mission of providing a rigorous, college preparatory education for our students from birth to 12th grade.

The CBI Program seeks to prepare students to function at a high level in less restrictive settings and to provide opportunities to do so, while also offering the on-level remedial instruction that would be difficult to adequately provide in a general education or resource setting.  In addition, the CBI Program offers vocational training through in-class workshop setting simulation and school-based jobs such as running the school store and filling copy orders for teachers.  Finally, students in CBI Program participate in community experiences to prepare them for the ‘real world,’ such as grocery shopping, using public transportation, and visiting restaurants.
Choice is Freedom!  At ReNEW, we ensure that students are academically and emotionally prepared to access the full range of life choices that are the fundamental right of every child in the city.
